i love luci!!
Luci you are almost two and time is going by too quickly!!
I was looking back at pictures last summer and I could not help but cry when I realized how much you have grown up!! I don't ever want to take one moment with you or Boston for granted!!! I love you both so much and I love being your mom!! You keep me on my toes and the last couple of weeks you have kept me up at night! Your newest trick is climbing out of your crib! You climb out every nap time and every night several times. Your smart enough to know that if you come out of your room you get an "owie" or a spank so you usually stay in your room and take all your "jammies" out of your drawer and try them on until you fall asleep. A couple of nights ago Dad and I had both taken turns putting you back into your crib. We thought you were finally asleep so I turned off all the lights and went to bed. Ten minutes after I got in bed I heard a couple doors shut and so I woke up Dad. He was too tired so I got up to see if somebody was in our house and I found a cute little blonde girl wandering around the pitch black house.
Luci you also love your "jammies" and you would like to wear them all day long!!You don't like getting dressed in the morning and most mornings you walk around holding out your shirt saying "bug"! You also don't care much for shoes and you are always taking them off! When you do have them on you are always telling me "too tight"!
You love to sing songs! Every night before we go to bed Mom likes to sing you three songs. You can now sing the last word of every line with me and it is my favorite thing to hear you sing the words. You are starting to talk so much and you express yourself so well.
Your cute smile lights up the room and you make all of us happy!! We love Luci!!

It's a Girl!!!
I know that I have told everybody we were having a boy but the Doctor was wrong. When we went back in on Friday we found out that the baby is "100% girl"! We are so excited and since we have one of each it didn't matter to either of us what we had! Boston was the only one that had some feelings about the whole girl thing! He was really excited to have a brother because he "already has a sister" and his name was going to be baby Caleb (He loves Tysons little baby boy Caleb so he thought we should have one to). I was a little nervous to tell him but with excitement in my voice I said , "Guess what Boston were going to have a girl. The Doctor thought it was a boy the first time but now you get to have another sister." He looked at me and said, "Its just not fair." So we didn't talk about it anymore. Then when Shane got home that night He said, "Isn't is awesome that were going to have a baby girl and again Boston paused for a moment and said "It's not awesome". Well I had to think of something to make him feel good about the baby. I told him that because he was so nice to girls (his sister Luci) that Heavenly Father sent us another girl because He knew that Boston would take good care of her. I also told him that a lot of brothers are mean to their sisters and he was such a good brother to sisters.
Well it went over good! He is now excited to have a sister and told my Dad that he"was going to have a girl because he is so nice to them!!!!
We are so excited to have another baby at our house!!!

Lady Bug ii
Lady Bug ii tragically dies!!
One thing I forgot to mention in my last post was that we had to call Bostons
new pet, "ladybug ii". . . like ii captain! We didn't have to salute ladybug but I am
sure Boston would have liked that. Any way we woke up last week only
having the ladybug with us for about 5 days to find it dead in
his bowl! Boston was really upset for a few minutes but then said
It's OK . . .it was ugly anyways!!

My action packed day!!
It is only 2:00pm and my day has already been full of surprises and laughs. Last night while visiting my Mom and Dad, Boston found his first and probably last pet. . . .a ladybug!!! He was so excited to bring it home and put it in his side table drawer! We instead put it in a bowl with some grass and covered it with saran wrap! When he woke up this morning he ran into our bedroom and he could not stop talking about his pet lady bug. . . . it had survived the night! After hearing all about the ladybug I went to get Luci out of her crib and she was covered in throw up. I got her out and cleaned her up in time for her to diarrhea all over. I had promised Boston he could play with a friend so after I had Luci all cleaned up his friend came over. Boston sat in time out three times the first 15 minutes his friend was over because he kept yelling at him. Boston was so upset because anything his friend did upset his ladybug and Boston had just put the ladybug to sleep. Then all the kids wanted a pick nick so I made food and let them go outside. Luci stayed in the house and ate some cottage cheese and chips. While eating her cottage cheese she grabbed a big handful wiped it all over her mouth and said, "HO, HO, HO!" I tried so hard not to laugh because I had just got through mopping my floors! Luci figured, " I do it the bath tub with bubbles why not with cottage cheese? After I cleaned up all the cheese curds all over I went outside to help the boys clean up their pick nick. While I was outside Luci fell and skinned her knee! I finally got her to stop crying and fall asleep which brings me to now! I haven't stopped all day but I am still not showered, the laundry isn't done and we still have dishes! The good news is the Ladybug got a nap, Luci is sleeping, and band aids and kisses make everything better ! Everything else can wait until tomorrow!!!

Easton is smiling!
We took these pictures about three weeks ago and it was a great morning. For the first time in over a month Easton was smiling! The past month has been so hard to watch Easton go from firecracker to antisocial and I can't imagine what Easton was really going through or feeling in his little body! His personality changed so much and all he wanted was to be alone lying in a bed. After his one month of flooding him with chemo and steriods he is starting to be his normal self (just a little bit weaker of course). After taking his pictures and seeing him play with Boston and the horses I started to cry when I got in my car! I was so greatful to see Easton happy and smiling again! Keep smiling East!!

Easter!
I know that it has been two weeks since Easter but the older Boston gets the funnier the Holidays are. I have always loved any holiday and so I think my excitement passes on to the kids weeks before the event! On Saturday Boston was so excited to go to the the Easter egg hunt at Barnes park! All week he kept asking when it was Saturday! We finally made it to Saturday and He was so excited along with Luci! He was with the 4- 6year olds and he is only four. The horn blew for them to start and he went jogging away (He is a passive kid and not to much into competition yet so it was OK to him that everybody was running by him.) Right as he would bend down to get an egg another kid would reach for the same egg so Boston let them have it and went on to the next egg. He was so cute but his little sister had more eggs than him so we just threw some of hers in his and we were all happy. When we got home from the park we colored eggs and ate candy!!
Sunday morning I was so excited to wake Boston. You never know what they are going to say when they see that "Easter Bunny" really came! He came out into the family room and running from egg to egg he would say, "What the!", "Mom, Dad come see this" and the "Easter bunny didn't trick me because I can find all the eggs!" Luci, as she quietly put eggs into her basket they would just fall out the other side but she didn't even notice none of the eggs were making it in her bucket. She was having too much fun!
It was a fun Easter and both the kids were so cute. After church we had Easter dinner and another Easter egg hunt at Grandma Willards. We could own a candy store right now!

Happy Birthday Shane!!
It was Shane's birthday on Friday and he finally turned 28 (making him only a year younger than me instead of two.) He said it was one of his best birthdays he has ever had and it was not due to all the activities I had planned. He told me it was the best because of all the people who had remembered it was his birthday and called or send E-cards. It is nice to have good friends and its not about the presents anymore its about the people we love!! Thanks to all our friends and family who made Shane's Birthday special. We love you guys!!!!

One of my favorite pictures!
This picture was taken last summer and it is one of my favorites. Boston and Luci have always had a bond together and it is so much fun to watch them interact with each other. Sure, they tease each other at times but at the end of each day they are asking for each other. Shane and I left the kids for 12 days while we went a a cruise. They seemed to do great but we have been home for 2 weeks now and "Bubba" is all Luci asks for. He takes care of her and she is his constant playmate. They are so cute and I could not beg for better kids.

Thanks for the inspiration
Thanks to all of you who have started a blog. They are so cute and fun to read!! I have thought about it for a year now when Shane first introduced it to me. What a perfect way to journal about my family!! It has been a little complicated so far but I think I this will become my new favorite hobby!!
