Boston. . . .the red sox

last night we were all driving in the car to grandmas and boston said to me, "ALOT of people know about me." and i said, "ya, how does everybody know you." boston said, "mom they turn on their tv and they see boston the red sox and that is me. a lot of people LOVE boston the red sox." laughing so he couldn't see me laughing i said, " i know honey a lot of people do know you but some people don't like the red sox. . . but i am almost positive that they love you (boston.)"
boston said, "mom (saying it as if i am stupid), if people don't like the red sox it is because they like the yankees and i like the yankees because they are like christmas to me."
totally confused at this point at what exactly he was getting at i just said, "honey i am so glad that so many people know you and love you. you keep being a great kid. . .boston the red sox." and he said, "thanks mom." (i am glad that he is still young enough to think he is famous, that he is THE boston red sox, that he can someday fly and that he believes in wizards (that is what he wants to be when he grows up. he truly lives in a fantasy land and i love it!)

the end.

here are a few pics from tball this spring. this was his first year playing and he loved it. they were the white sox.

determined

i am determined to keep this blog/journal updated because life goes by to quickly. in the past 14 months that i have not written so many things have happened and they will all be forgotten because i was to worried about perfection. i have a problem and that is. . .perfection. i didnt care for the way my blog "looked" so i didn't want to write any more posts until i fixed it and i was also worried that my spelling and grammar would be wrong so i also wanted to wait until i went private. well . . . it has been so long since i have written i am sure that this blog is almost private so for those of you who still check back to read about our lives then please know that it wont be PERFECT but it will help me remember the best days of my life!

thanks for reading
