It is only 2:00pm and my day has already been full of surprises and laughs. Last night while visiting my Mom and Dad, Boston found his first and probably last pet. . . .a ladybug!!! He was so excited to bring it home and put it in his side table drawer! We instead put it in a bowl with some grass and covered it with saran wrap! When he woke up this morning he ran into our bedroom and he could not stop talking about his pet lady bug. . . . it had survived the night! After hearing all about the ladybug I went to get Luci out of her crib and she was covered in throw up. I got her out and cleaned her up in time for her to diarrhea all over. I had promised Boston he could play with a friend so after I had Luci all cleaned up his friend came over. Boston sat in time out three times the first 15 minutes his friend was over because he kept yelling at him. Boston was so upset because anything his friend did upset his ladybug and Boston had just put the ladybug to sleep. Then all the kids wanted a pick nick so I made food and let them go outside. Luci stayed in the house and ate some cottage cheese and chips. While eating her cottage cheese she grabbed a big handful wiped it all over her mouth and said, "HO, HO, HO!" I tried so hard not to laugh because I had just got through mopping my floors! Luci figured, " I do it the bath tub with bubbles why not with cottage cheese? After I cleaned up all the cheese curds all over I went outside to help the boys clean up their pick nick. While I was outside Luci fell and skinned her knee! I finally got her to stop crying and fall asleep which brings me to now! I haven't stopped all day but I am still not showered, the laundry isn't done and we still have dishes! The good news is the Ladybug got a nap, Luci is sleeping, and band aids and kisses make everything better ! Everything else can wait until tomorrow!!!

Easton is smiling!
We took these pictures about three weeks ago and it was a great morning. For the first time in over a month Easton was smiling! The past month has been so hard to watch Easton go from firecracker to antisocial and I can't imagine what Easton was really going through or feeling in his little body! His personality changed so much and all he wanted was to be alone lying in a bed. After his one month of flooding him with chemo and steriods he is starting to be his normal self (just a little bit weaker of course). After taking his pictures and seeing him play with Boston and the horses I started to cry when I got in my car! I was so greatful to see Easton happy and smiling again! Keep smiling East!!

Easter!
I know that it has been two weeks since Easter but the older Boston gets the funnier the Holidays are. I have always loved any holiday and so I think my excitement passes on to the kids weeks before the event! On Saturday Boston was so excited to go to the the Easter egg hunt at Barnes park! All week he kept asking when it was Saturday! We finally made it to Saturday and He was so excited along with Luci! He was with the 4- 6year olds and he is only four. The horn blew for them to start and he went jogging away (He is a passive kid and not to much into competition yet so it was OK to him that everybody was running by him.) Right as he would bend down to get an egg another kid would reach for the same egg so Boston let them have it and went on to the next egg. He was so cute but his little sister had more eggs than him so we just threw some of hers in his and we were all happy. When we got home from the park we colored eggs and ate candy!!
Sunday morning I was so excited to wake Boston. You never know what they are going to say when they see that "Easter Bunny" really came! He came out into the family room and running from egg to egg he would say, "What the!", "Mom, Dad come see this" and the "Easter bunny didn't trick me because I can find all the eggs!" Luci, as she quietly put eggs into her basket they would just fall out the other side but she didn't even notice none of the eggs were making it in her bucket. She was having too much fun!
It was a fun Easter and both the kids were so cute. After church we had Easter dinner and another Easter egg hunt at Grandma Willards. We could own a candy store right now!
